What is Krav Maga?
Its the original and first MMA (mixed martial arts) system in the world.
Simply put, its the only field tested system of contact combat in the world. The circular symbol represents a unique approach that isnt seen in any other martial art or self defence system. Old techniques are made obsolete and replaced for newer improved techniques cyclically. Everything is tested to failure and individual limitations highlighted as weaknesses that may require further field testing to perfect. Then and only then does it become part of the new syllabus and becomes an approved and recognised Krav Maga defence / attack.
The system takes the best from all combat styles. Ground fighting is taken from BJJ, Judo and Wrestling. Elbow's, Knee's from Muay Thai etc. These techniques are then modified, adapted, and incorporated to work and evolve within the Krav Maga methodology.
The system evolves and adapts to its geographic location bottom line purpose.
Civilian = Defend & Protect.
Military = Attack & Kill.
